Maintenance roadworks on the M-12 (motorway).

Maintenance roadworks have been completed on the M-19 (moroway) Domaneve – Kovel – Chernivtsi – Terebleche highway.
Construction of Ukraine’s first Japanese modular bridge across the Gnizna River in the village of Chernikhovtsi, Ternopil region.

The works began in April and continued intensively until mid-August 2018. Hundreds of our employees worked from morning to evening, on weekdays and weekends, using more than 200 units of modern powerful equipment to ensure the appropriate quality and to complete the repair work as quickly as possible. Well-established logistics processes allowed us to use time efficiently and avoid downtime.

A total of 38.9 kilometers of road was repaired. After
milling the old asphalt pavement, the base was regenerated and reinforced,
and two layers of asphalt concrete pavement were laid. In some areas,
the roadway was widened and additional lanes were formed.

During the regeneration process using the cold recycling method,
a 22 cm thick layer of road surface is laid, which in terms of its characteristics
is similar to concrete. This allows the necessary profile of the road
bed to be formed with a monolithic seamless concrete slab at its base. The stability of the
road to transport and weight loads is increased. The cold regeneration method is
the most economically feasible, as it reduces the duration of repair work,
significantly reduces their cost and the cost of further operational maintenance.

Work continues on repairing sidewalks within populated areas, constructing exits, and strengthening and improving road shoulders.
